Pertamina EP signs amendments to gas deals

The deals include the contract with state-owned electricity PLN's unit, PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB). Under the amended contract, PJB?s Muara Tawar power plant will be supplied by Pertamina EP with 25 MMSCFD of gas for two years starting June 21 this year. The gas sales deal is worth US$81 million, Pertamina EP?s President Director Salis Aprilianto said.
Also amended was the gas sales contract with state owned fertilizer firm PT Pupuk Kujang. Under the new contract, Kujang's unit C will be supplied by Pertamina with 39 mmcfd of gas from Jan. 1, 2010 through Dec. 31, 2016 with delivery point at Dawuan station in West Java.
Pertamina EP also signed the amandement to gas sales contract with another state-owned fertilizer firm PT Pupuk Sriwijaya (PUSRI), under which it would supply 166 MMSCFD of gas from Jan. 1, 2012 until Dec. 31, 2017 with delivery point at Pertamina?s plant gate.
PT Medco EP Indonesia also signed a contract with PT Sarana Pembangunan Palembang Jaya for supply of 1 MMSCFD over three years between 2010 and 2013 worth $2.43 million.(godang)
