PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has signed a joint operating agreement (JOA) with Geominergy Cepu to develop four oil fields within the Cepu block, which is located in the borders of East and Central Java.
Pertamina EP President Director Syamsu Alam told Petromindo.com Monday that the joint operating agreement was signed by the two companies last week. The four fields include Ledok, Semanggi, Kawengan, and Nglobo.
He added that Pertamina had already previously made a similar agreement with Geominergy to develop the Sungai Lilin field in South Sumatra.
