Pertamina EP spuds Kuang well

PT Pertamina EP started the year brightly as it inaugurated on Sunday the first drilling at the Kuang well in the Bindu village, South Sumatra.
The 30-working-days drilling is primarily aiming to confirm proven reserve of the Beringin reservoir, the company?s Vice President for Exploration Nanang A. Manaf said in a press statement.
He added, the work is tightly-scheduled but still the safety aspect should not be overlooked . ?The HSE (health, safety and environmental) aspect must not be compromised. Yes, we have a tight deadline, but that does not mean we should be less aware of the HSE aspect.?
