Pertamina EP spuds RNT-DZ7 well at Rantau field

PT Pertamina EP spudded on Tuesday the RNT-DZ7 well at the Rantau field in Aceh Tamiang, Aceh, as part of efforts to increase the field?s production.

Rantau field Manager Agus Amperianto said in a statement obtained Wednesday that the RNT-DZ7 well is being drilled with the 450HP-capacity Skytop Rig owned by PT Pertamina Drilling Service Indonesia, with targeted depth of 810 meters True Vertical Deep, for a tentative period of 18 days.

Production from the well is targeted at 120 bopd, which will help meet the field?s March 2014 production target of 3,547 bopd, the company said in the statement.
