Pertamina EP strikes gas in W. Java

PT Pertamina EP, an upstream arm of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) said it has discovered gas during its recent exploration drilling in Indramayu, West Java.

The Akasia Bagus-1 well has completed test and flowed 8MMCFD of gas, PR Manager M. Harun told Petromindo.Com. The test was completed last week, he said without giving further detail about the well.

Harun said the Company will conduct further drilling to delineate the discovery. (bernard)
