Pertamina EP strikes gas in West Java and South Sumatra wells

PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina, strikes gas in two locations, namely Jati Besar well in West Java and Piretera well in South Sumatra at end March, a company official said.
Director for Development of Pertamina EP, Dodi Priambodo, told Petromindo.com that the Jati Besar well 1 in Pagardewa area strikes gas at depth of 1,600 meters and Piretrium 1 well in Pamanukan area, West Java at depth of 2,900 meters.
?We do the drilling work by ourselves,? he told Petromindo.com.
He said Pertamina EP is currently conducting testing on the two wells and hope to get test results in two weeks.
