Pertamina EP takes over Bangadua TAC

PT Pertamina EP has taken over the technical assistance contract (TAC) of Bangadua Block in Jatibarang, West Java, from PT Bangadua Petroleum, a subsidiary of PT Ratu Prabu Energi.

Pertamina EP is currently preparing for well development in the second half of this year. ?The contract has been overdue, so it is taken over by Pertamina. Bangadua oil production as per the TAC was between 400 and 500 bopd and gas at about 1.5 mmscfd,? Pertamina EP Public Relations Manager Agus Amperianto told Petromindo.com Monday.

Pertamina EP plans to increase production from Bangadua by conducting new drillings and work-over on two wells of the block. ?We plan to develop it further by drilling new wells during the second semester. We?ll do it ourself,? he added.
