Pertamina EP to reactivate old wells in forestry areas

PT Pertamina EP plans to reactivate old wells within forestry areas and has proposed to the Forestry Ministry for relevant permits.
The company recorded some 5,144 old wells that fit such criteria.
"The Forestry Ministry supports our proposal for permits to reactivate old wells in forestry areas," PR Manager Agus Amperianto told petromindo.com.
Agus added that about 40 percent of the total wells could be reactivated.
"The reactivation program has been implemented since 2011.
Pertamina EP targets to produce 137,000 bpd of oil and 1,160 mmscfd of gas in 2013. It plans to spend an estimated Rp10.3 trillion in investment for the year.
