PT Pertamina EP, the exploration and production arm of state-owned oil and gas PT Pertamina, is preparing several agreements with multinational firms on the development of its mature fields in a bid to boost oil output.
?Pertamina EP will sign MoUs (memorandum of Understanding) with several multinational firms such as ENI, ConocoPhillips, Total, CNOOC, and Sinopec, in the near future,? company president director Kun Kurnaely told Petromindo.Com on Tuesday.
Kun said Pertamina EP expected to increase its oil output by 20,000-30,000 barrels of oil per day (BPD) in the next two or three year.
Kun added said several local firms also had shown interest to make similar deals. (godang)
