Pertamina EP to spud Benggala-2 well in January/February

PT Pertamina EP plans to drill the Benggala-2 well in the Langkat block, North Sumatra, in January or February of next year.
Vice President for Exploration Nanang S. Manaf told Petromindo.com Thursday that the company is currently making preparations for the planned drilling program.
The planned drilling program came following a successful maiden gas production at the Benggala-1 well last month. The company said that production rate now stands at 3.5 mmscfd, channeled to the gas pipeline of state-controlled gas distribution firm PT Perusahaan Gas Negara.
