Pertamina EP to spud Kawista-1 well in September

PT Pertamina EP has planned to spud Kawista-1 exploration well in Klamono Block, Papua, in September this year.

?We?re conducting land clearing on the site while waiting for the arrival of the rig to use for the drilling. If possible, we?ll do it before September so that rains won?t disrupt our operations too much,? PT Pertamina EP Planning Director Dody Priambodo told Petromindo.com in Jakarta on Wednesday.

The exploration well will be the second well to be drilled by Pertamina EP in Klamono Block. Previously, the company had conducted the drilling of exploration well in other part of the block and had conducted a test on the well.
