Pertamina EP to spud two wells next week

PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of oil and gas company PT Pertamina, is currently finalizing the drilling of two wells, one in North Sumatra and one in West Java, and will spud two other wells starting next week.

?We are completing drilling in Garcenia-1 in Sumatra and Jatikeling-2 in Java,? the company?s Vice President for Exploration, Nanang S. Manaf, told Petromindo.com.

Manaf added that next week, the company will spud Pemaat-4 well in Prabumulih, South Sumatra and Tiung Biru-3 in Tiung Biru field within the Cepu block at the border of East Java and Central Java.

The drilling of the wells is part of the company?s exploration activities set for this year. Pertamina EP has set its year 2012 total expenditures, for both capital and operating expenditures, at US$3.12 billion.
