Pertamina EP unit exceeds production target

Oil production at PT Pertamina EP?s eastern Indonesia region has exceeded this year?s target, thanks to higher production at a number of wells, a senior official said.

General Manager of PT Pertamina EP eastern Indonesia region, Satoto Agustono said on Monday that as of June 12, oil production has already reached 123 percent of the 8,008 barrel of oil per day target.

?The eastern Indonesia region has set a target of 8,008 bopd. Per June 12, year to date achievement was already 123 percent,? he told Petromindo.com.

Satoto said that in 2012, the company plans to develop 9 wells (4 has been completed), and explore 3 wells (1 has been completed).
