Pertamina, ESA sign MoU on LPG plant

PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), a subsidiary of state owned PT Pertamina (Persero), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Energi Surya Adilestari (ESA) to jointly carry out study for the development of an LPG plant in East Java as part of the effort to optimize gas utilization in East Java.

The MOU was signed by Pertagas? President Director Hendra Jaya and ESA?s President Director Eri Purnomohadi in the middle of December.,

Pertagas has several gas fields in East Java, whose production can be processed into LPG.

Both firms have not yet decided on the type of cooperation they are going to make. They may set up a joint venture, a joint operation, or others.
