State oil, gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) is eyeing to acquire stake at Muriah PSC block offshore East Java, a Petromindo.com source said on Friday.
The block is operated by Malaysian oil, gas firm Petronas Carigali, which has 100 percent stake in the block.
The source did not give detail about the percentage of interest it sought to acquire.
Petronas has earlier announced that it was looking to farm-out part of the interest in the block.
