Indonesia's state-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina will likely import 9 million barrels of oil products in July, down from June as demand is expected to fall, its' trading and marketing director Ahmad Faizal said Friday.

"Our (oil product) imports are expected to fall," Faizal told reporters, including Dow Jones Newswires reporter, without elaborating.

Market sources said that Pertamina is importing 12.3 million barrels of oil products this month.

Oil product consumption in Indonesia has been declining since the government more than doubled the prices of the oil products sold to the public in October. (*)
