Thursday, December 20 2001 - 03:33 AM WIB

State oil and gas company Pertamina was targeting average crude production of 115,000 b/d from its upstream operations in the year 2002, up from the current 90,000 b/d, a senior company official was quoted by Platts.

The figure includes four kinds of oil field contract arrangements Pertamina has: acreages held and operated solely by the company; joint operating body or JOB contracts; technical assistance contracts or TACs; and Indonesian participation or IP contracts, the official said.

"Including our natural gas and geothermal operations our current output is 225,000 bbl of oil equivalent per day. We aim to raise this to 300,000 boe/day next year," he added. (Robert)
