Pertamina Gas kicks off EPC tender for Bitung CNG project

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina Gas on Tuesday starts an EPC tender process for a compressed natural gas (CNG) project in Bitung, Tangerang, which includes the development of a mother station and several daughter stations.
Interested bidders have until February 6, 2012 to register, a media statement said.
In addition to administrative requirements, companies wishing to participate in the tender must also meet certain qualifications such as having at least a 7-year experience in carrying out EPC works for gas facilities, as shown in a copy of previous contracts (with a minimum value of US$2 million) which must be attached along with other documents.
A consortium of maximum 3 companies is allowed to bid. Participants, or the consortium leader in the case of consortium, must posses the Contractor Safety Management System certificate.
