Pertamina Geothermal to sign Lampung steam sales HoA to PLN

PT Pertamina Geothermal, a geothermal unit of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero), will sign a HoA to sell steam from its geothermal prospect in Ulu Belu, Lampung to state electricity firm PT PLN.

President Director Abadi Poernomo said that Pertamina Geothermal will sell steam to PLN sufficient to generate 2x55 MW power plant at a price of US 4.2 cents per kwh.

PLN will build the power plant.

Ulu Belu is part of PLN?s plan to develop 880 MW of geothermal power plants across the country within the next few years. (godang)
