Pertamina-Gryphon consortium gets contract from PHE ONWJ

The consoritiun of PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK), the shipping unit of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina and Gryphon Asia Pacific Ltd has won the contract to provide a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO)/Mobile Operating Production Unit (MOPU) for PHE ONWJ, the operator of Offshore North West Java (ONWJ) block offshore West Java.
PTK?s President Director Ahmad Bambang said in a statement the contract worth US$375 million was awarded last week.
Earlier, the consortium won the contract to provide a FSO worth $40 million for CNOOC.
Besides, PTK is preparing a floating 5000 DWT floating storage in Surabaya, East Java and is participating in the tender of the contract to provide FSO and swapping floating storage for Arjuna dry dock.
?We managed to win the swapping floating storage tender. We hope to also win the Arco Ardjuna dry-dock and other projects,? he said, without providing details about the project.
He said PTK?s fleet has been fast expanding. In 2012, the armada consist of 23 units and is expanding to 40 units this year and 55-60 units at the end of 2015.
