Pertamina hires Sucofindo to help boost efficiency

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina has teamed up with state-owned surveyor and consultancy firm PT Sucofindo to help the former in improving efficiency and competitiveness as the company seeks to become a leading global energy company.

?We have to team up with a leading and experienced company in the areas of inspection, test, certification, consultancy and training,? said Pertamina President Director Dwi Sutjipto on Thursday.

He added that with the help of Sucofindo, Pertamina could improve efficiency in all business lines of the company.

Sucofindo President Director Bachder Djohan Buddin said that his company would support Pertamina?s efficiency drive among others through supervision of oil and gas distribution, inspection of asset reliability and inspection, and independent testing. (*)
