Pertashop will sell and distribute fuel products, LPG cylinders and other related products and services.
The MoU was signed in Semarang, Central Java by Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian and President Director of Pertamina Nicke Widyawati and witnessed by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister for Villages, Remote Areas Development & Transmigration Abdul Halim Iskandar, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and Director for Retail Marketing of Pertamina Mas'ud Khamid.

The presence of Pertashop in villages will also support Pertamina's One Village One Outlet (OVOO) program to ensure that fuel and LPG products reach out to village areas, including remote areas.
President Director of Pertamina Nicke Widyawati said the cooperation with the Home Affairs Ministry aims to assure that all 7,196 subdistricts in Indonesia are all covered by Pertamina's distribution network. The establishment of Pertashop will take into account the commercial and business sustainability aspect.
Nicke said Pertashops will be set up in areas that are far from fuel stations (SPBUs). Pertamina, she added, will cooperate with various parties to set up Pertashop in villages.
