Pertamina Hulu to start drilling one well in WMO block today

Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) said it will start drilling of the KE 38 well in West Madura Offshore (WMO) Block today.
?We will begin to spud one well in KE today with an estimated depth of 8000 feet,? President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, Dwi Martono, told Petromindo.com.
The drilling of the well was part of the company?s plan to ramp up the block?s production. The company expects oil production from the block can be increased to 20,000 barrels per day (BPD) by the end of this year from 13,000-14,000 BPD currently. (godang)
