Pertamina imported 117 million barrel crude in 2007

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina imported 117.150 million barrels crude oil throughout 2007, and there will be no significant decline in importation this year, the company official said.
"Our crude oil import this year will be around the 2007 figure," finance director Suroro Atmomartoyo said on the sideline of a hearing with the House of Representatives on Wednesday night.
The imported crude oil comprised 74.158 million barrels from term and 42.992 million barrels from spot market.
The highest importation of crude oil took place in September with 11.590 million barrels, June with 11.222 million barrels and October with 11.092 million barrels.
Oil importation was conducted through tenders, which also saw Petral, Pertamina subsidiary based in Singapore, taking part, he added. (*)
