State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina is importing an extra 400,000 barrels of gasoline and 600,000 barrels of diesel fuel in April, due to the shutdown the vacuum unit at its Dumai refinery in Riau, Marketing and Trading Director Ahmad Faisal said Friday.
?We have secured some (of the fuel) in Singapore and are still seeking the rest,? Faisal told reporters, without elaborating further.
Pertamina last week shut down the vacuum unit for repairs, which is expected to last for two weeks. (godang)
