Pertamina inaugurates W. Kalimantan fuel terminal

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, had on March 8 inaugurated a fuel terminal in Pontianak, West Kalimantan.
Pertamina said in a statement obtained Wednesday that the fuel terminal will help Pertamina Patra to ensure fuel supply for industries in the province.
?With the fuel terminal, Pertamina Patra Niaga can be more effective and efficient in taking delivery, storage, distribution, and marketing (of fuel) to the industries,? said Marketing Director of Pertamina Patra, Agus Himawan.
The fuel terminal, located on Jl Khatulistiwa, North Pontianak, comprises of offshore and onshore storage facilities with combined capacity of 3,000 kilo liters. Trial operation was held in December of last year.
