Pertamina increases LPG price

State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina has increased the price of non-subsidized LPG in 12-kg cylinder by Rp 666.67 per kg, or Rp 8,000 per cylinder.
The new retail price of Rp 142,000 per cylinder was effective starting April 1, said Pertamina Director Achmad Bambang.
He said that the increase in the LPG price was necessary to avoid losses in selling the fuel.
The company last increase the price of the particular LPG in January of this year to Rp 134,000 per cylinder.(*)
