The board includes Bambang Kustono as president director, Suryadarma as operation director, Suroto as planning and development director Suroto and Andre T Hidayat as director of finance.
Pertamina has also chosen Mohamad Afdal as president commissioner and R. Suhyar as commissioner of the new subsidiary.
Bambang said that PGE will prioritize the development of Pertamina's existing 15 geothermal working areas.
?We will seek partners to develop the areas but we will (first) try our best to develop them by ourselves,? Bambang said after the installment ceremony on Tuesday.
The priority areas include Lumut Balai, Ulu Belu, South Lahendong and Kotamobagu, Bambang added.
Earlier, Pertamina upstream director Sukusen Soemarinda said that several investors have voiced interest to develop working areas now being held by the company.
?Foreign investors that are interested include Chevron and Star Energy,? Sukusen said. Chevron now operates several geothermal power plants in Drajat and Salak Mountain in West Java, while Star Energy has discovered geothermal resources and plans to build a power plant in Wayang Windu, also in West Java.
