Pertamina installs new gantry system at Tanjung Gerem fuel terminal

State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina has installed a new gantry system at the Tanjung Gerem fuel terminal in Grogol, Cilegon, Banten.

The company said that Pertamina Marketing Director Ahmad Bambang recently installed the new gantry system.

Tanung Gerem is the third fuel terminal of Pertamina to have installed a new gantry system after the technology was applied at the Plumpang fuel terminal in Jakarta, and the Ujung Berung fuel terminal in Bandung, West Java. Pertamina said it plans to apply the technology at the Balongan refinery in Indramayu, West Java.

The recently inaugurated Tanjung Gerem fuel terminal distributes fuel products in Banten. It has 15 storage tanks with combined capacity of 110,809 kl, distributing an average of 3,595 kl per day to serve Pertamina?s 112 retail fuel outlets in the region.

The Tanjung Gerem fuel terminal, dubbed as world class fuel terminal, also redistribute fuel products to six other fuel terminals including Pangkal Balam, Pulau Baai, Pontianak, and Panjang.
