Pertamina introduces new automotive diesel product

State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina on Friday launched a new automotive diesel product called Dexlite by introducing it at 33 fuel stations in Jakarta, West Java, and Banten provinces in a market trial.

Pertamina said in a statement that President Director Dwi Soetjipto introduced the product at a fuel station in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta.

Dwi said that the company introduced Dexlite, which has a minimum Cetane number of 51 and maximum sulfur content of 1,200 ppm, amid growing demand for diesel fuel in the country.

Pertamina said it has a capacity to supply up to 1,000 kilo liters of Dexlite per day.
