Pertamina invites local shipping firms to provide chartered vessels

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina invited domestic shipping companies to participate in tender for the supply vessels to the company via time charter, contract of affreightment (COA) and voyage charter arrangements.

The company said in a tender announcement Monday that it would require various types of vessels including:
1. Crude Oil Tanker
2. Clean Petroleum Product Tanker
3. Asphalt Tanker
4. Lube Base Oil Tanker
5. LPG Tanker
6. Tug & Oil Barge (Capable to carry Oil with Flash Point Below 60?C)
7. Harbour Tug (Assist Tug)
8.Towing Tug

Pertamina said that all vessels procured by the company must first obtain the Pertamina Safe Approval.
