Pertamina, Jakarta sign agreement on energy infrastructures

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) and the provincial government of Jakarta signed on Tuesday an agreement to cooperate in developing infrastructures for the provision of oil and gas, renewable energy and electricity in the city.

The agreement was signed by Pertamina?s President Director Dwi Soetjipto and Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama at Pertamina?s headquarters, the state firm said in a statement.

The agreement involves joint efforts to provide gas and electricity and gas and develop infrastructures to supply gas to housing complexes, transportation and industries as part of the city gas program in the capital city. They will cooperate in various aspects ranging from licensing process, land appropriation and development of infrastructures.

For its part, Pertamina will provide quality products to be used at the provincial government?s facilities, including ?musicool? (an environmentally sound refrigerant) for green building pilot project program.
