Pertamina Jambi finds five new oil, gas fields

State oil and gas company Pertamina?s production unit in Jambi has discovered five new oil and gas fields in the province this year, Kompas reported on Friday.

The new fields are located in Bukit Paku, Rengancondong and Titian (in Batang Hari regency), and in Ketaling, Sungaigelm Deep (in Muarojambi regency).

He said that total crude oil production in the province reached a total of 3,300 barrel per day, or an increase of 10 percent from the previous year. The crude production of Pertamina?s production sharing contractor totals 26,900 barrels per day. (*)
