Pertamina keeps promise to review bond issue plan

State oil and gas firm Pertamina will go ahead with its plan to review its program of issuing US$500 million in eurobond, a company official said Tuesday.
?The company?s new board of directors will review the bond issue plan as decided by the previous board,? Pertamina?s finance director Alfred H. Rohimone told reporters.
Alfred said Pertamina?s determination to focus on its core businesses like acquiring new oil and gas fields had prompted it to review the bond issue plan.
Pertamina said earlier that proceeds of the eurobond issue would be used to finance several business expansion plans. (godang)
