Pertamina, Korean firm to set up joint venture

PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK), the shipping arm of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has signed an agreement with South Korean firm Tong Yeong Tug Co. Ltd to set up a joint venture to a shipping firm.
The agreement was signed at the meeting room of PTK?s Prisdent Director Ahmad Bambang and Tong Yeong?s CEO Park Yeoung So in Jakarta on June 10, 2014. The joint venture will be called Trans Yeong Maritime, Pertamina said in a statement obtained Friday.
The joint venture will support the operation of the Donggi Senoro LNG plant which is now under development in Central Sulawesi.
