Pertamina launches food grade lubricants

PT Pertamina Lubricants, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, on Wednesday launched five food grade lubricant products for machinery and other equipment used in the food and beverage industry in Indonesia.
Pertamina Lubricants President Director Gigih Hari Wahyu Irianto said that the food grade lubricants are produced using materials that are not harmful to humans, and the chemical additives used are those which meet the requirement of the US Food and Drug Administration.
The five new lubricant products include four food grade gear oil variants (FG-GO) namely FG-GO 150, 220,320, and 460 for machinery in the production of food and beverage products; and one variant of food grade hydraulic oil (FG-HO) 46.
