Pertamina launches new MRUs

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) has launched four new Mobile Refueling Units (MRUs) in several spot in Jakarta to make it easier for vehicle owners to buy Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

The launching of the four MRUs was marked in a ceremony presided over by Director General of Oil and Gas IGN Wiratmaja in the presence of officials from the Jakarta provincial administration and Pertamina, Pertamina said in a statement on Monday.

The MRUs are located Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta; SPBG Pulogebang natural gas station, East Jakarta; SPBU COCO gas station on Jl. Industri, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta; , and the KM 57 Rest Area on Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

Including the new MRUs, Pertamina now operates 34 natural gas filling stations (SPBG) across the country, including seven MRUs.
