Pertamina launches two vessels

PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK), a shipping subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has recently launched two vessels, transferring them to the water for the first time.

The company said in a statement that the launching ceremony for one unit of oil tanker was held on June 21 at a shipyard facility owned by PT Dry Dock World Pertama in Batam, while launching for one unit of oil barge was held at a shipyard owned by PT Patria Maritime Perkasa.

The oil tanker, called Transko Arafura, which has a capacity of 3,500 LTDW, was built by Dry Dock, while the oil barge with a capacity of also 1,100 DTW and called Transko Ranau, was built by Patria Maritime.
