State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina lowered retail prices of several fuels for industry beginning December 1, 2008 following the recent decrease in international crude prices.

Pertamina sells fuels to industry at market price as the government does not provide subsidy for this type of buyers.

Pertamina said on Sunday that price of Premium gasoline for industries was slashed to Rp 5,800.02 from Rp 6,500.03 (US$= Rp 11,400) per liter, while that of kerosene was reduced to Rp 6,400.02 per liter from 7,130.75 per liter and that of high-speed diesel (HSD) to Rp 6,339.84 from Rp 6,727.50 per liter.

At the same time, Pertamina also cut the price of marine fuel oil (MFO) to Rp 3,582.59 per liter from Rp 3,644.08 per liter and that of marine diesel fuel (MDF) to Rp 5,670.94 from Rp 6,096.86 per liter. (godang)
