Pertamina lowers non-subsidized fuel retail prices

State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina lowered retail prices for several non-subsidized fuels beginning May 01, 2009.

Pertamina said in Jakarta Thursday that the new price for Pertamax gasoline in Jakarta, Banten, and West Java is Rp 5,900 (1 US$ = Rp 10,670) per liter compared with Rp 6,000 per liter previously. The price of Pertamax Plus gasoline in the same regions have been slashed to Rp 6,500 from Rp 6,600 per liter, while the price BioPertamax is down to Rp 5,900 from Rp 6,000 per liter.

Pertamina also lowered the price of Dex gasoline to Rp 6,150 from Rp 6,500 per liter. (godang)
