Pertamina Lubricants enters Egypt market

PT Pertamina Lubricants, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, signed on Friday a contract with Egypt?s Ashrafco, for an initial shipment of 20-feet container of lubricant products worth US$56.695, marking its entry into the Egyptian lubricants market.
Pertamina Lubricants said in a statement that shipment is expected to be made in October, and hopes that it would be able to further increase sales volume in Egypt going forward.
With a population of 93.62 million, Egypt offers market potential for Pertamina Lubricants. To date, ten lubricant brands dominate the Egyptian market.
