Pertamina Lubricants introduces new products in Thailand

Pertamina Lubricants, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, said in a statement that the company introduced new products called Fastron Gold 5W-30 API SN; Fastron Techno 10W-40 API SN; and Fastron Fully Synthetic 0W-50 API SM.
The company?s other Fastron and Enduro product series have already been previously available in the Thai automotive market. In early 2015, Pertamina Lubricants also introduced lubricant products for industries.
Pertamina Lubricants set up the Thai subsidiary in 2014 when it acquired 74 percent of Bangkok-based lubricants maker AMACO Production Co Ltd.
Pertamina Lubricants (Thailand) Co Ltd CEO Dommy Ferdinando Peea said that the company aims to penetrate next year the Indochina markets including Cambodia, Laos and Bangladesh.
He added that over the next five years, the company plans to expand production capacity by another 15,000 kilo liters per year. Current production capacity is 60,000 KL per year.
Pertamina Lubricants has been quite aggressive in introducing its products in the global markets since the past six years. The products are now found in 14 countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Company Sales and Marketing Director Andria Nusa said Pertamina Lubricants is currently focused on penetrating the markets in China, Australia, South Africa and Nigeria.
