Pertamina Lubricants ties up with Post Logistik Indonesia

PT Pertamina Lubricants (PL), a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, announced on Monday that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Pos Logistik Indonesia (PLI), a subsidiary of state owned postal firm PT Pos Indonesia, to cooperate in the distribution of the former?s products.

PL? products will be distributed by PLI?s workers through the IT-based Warehouse Management System (WMW)

PL?s President Director Gigih WH Irianto said thanks to the cooperation with PLI, it is expected the coverage of PL?s products will reach remote areas of the country, including those in hardly-accessible areas in eastern Indonesia.

The cooperation with PLI involves freight forwarding, transporting, warehousing of products produced by PL or materials needed by PL. All PL?s existing depots and other distribution infrastructures will be managed by PLI.
