Pertamina makes discoveries in W. Java, Jambi

PT Pertamina EP, an upstream unit of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina said it has discovered gas, condensate during its recent exploration drilling in West Java and Jambi.
President Director Salis Aprilian told Petromindo.Com on Monday that the Bambu Besar well onshore West Java has flowed gas and condensate during the tests.
Another well called Puspa 01 located onshore Jambi also flowed gas and condensate in the first drill stem test.
He did not give number saying that the discoveries are currently being evaluated.
Meanwhile, he said, another exploration well called Karang Luhur A, which is located in Indramayu, is currently being drilled and has reached the depth of 1,800 meters. According to Petrominer magazine, the well will be drilled to the total depth of 3,500 meters. (bernard)
