PT Pertamina EP Indonesia, a subsidiary of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina, mulls a plan to invite private oil and gas company PT Medco E&P Indonesia to develop its oil and gas fields through joint operating scheme (KSO).
?Cooperating with Medco through joint operating scheme is possible. In principle, we are open to cooperation with any company as long as the agreement is achieved based on B to B approach,? Syamsu Alam, President Director of Pertamina EP, told Petromindo.com.
Separately, Frila B. Yaman, CEO of PT Medco Energi Internasional, who is also President Director of PT Medco E&P Indonesia, said the company also considers the idea of cooperating with Pertamina EP, however, at present no concrete programs are on table.
?As long as the fields are suitable with our company?s policy, we are certainly happy to cooperate with Pertamina EP in the form of joint operating scheme,? Frila told Petromindo.com.
