Pertamina mulls second bond issue

State oil and gas company Pertamina said it was planning to issue another US$ 250 million worth of bonds within the next few months following favorable sign it received on the first bond launch plan.

?The proceed will be used to finance acquisition of Wayang Windu geothermal project and for South Sumatra exploration program,? said finance director Ainun Na?im Friday.

He said Pertamina had not decided which financial house to appoint to arrange the issue.

Pertamina, through its subsidiary PT. Pertamina Tongkang had planned to issue US$160 million bonds in August, and had appointed Citicorp and Bahana as arrangers. (godang)
