Pertamina, ONGC mull upstream cooperation pact

State oil and gas company Pertamina and India?s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is in talk to form upstream joint venture in Indonesia and India, according to Pertamina official.
?Pertamina is offering ONGC cooperation in Aru-Langkat exploartion block offshore North Sumatra while ONGC is offering joint venture in an Indian block,? said Iin Arifin Takhyan, Pertamina?s upstream director on Thursday.
Iin said both companies are now opening data room. (godang)
