Pertamina opens office of Malaysian unit

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina is scheduled to officiate on Monday the office its Malaysian operating unit called Pertamina Malaysia Exploration-Production in Kuala Lumpur.
The company said in a statement Sunday that a simple ceremony will be held at the Maxis Tower in Kuala Lumpur, to be attended by several to Pertamina officials including Upstream Director Syamsu Alam and Director of New and Renewable Energy Yenni Andayani.
Pertamina in 2013 acquired six oil and gas blocks in Malaysia from Murphy Oil.
