Pertamina opens tender for new tankers

State oil and gas firm PT Pertamina has commenced a tender for the procurement of four new tanker units under the Direct Purchase scheme.
The company said in a tender announcement on Friday that it is looking to procure 3 units of Crude Oil tankers and 1 unit of Avtur tanker, each falls under the category of General Purpose with 17,500 DWT.
Pertamina said that it is inviting domestic shipbuilding companies to participate in the tender.
