Pertamina opens tender for tankers procurement

State oil and gas company Pertamina on Thursday announced the opening of the tender to procure 12 units of new oil tankers of various sizes. The company said the project would support crude and oil products distribution to and from Indonesia and throughout the country.
Pertamina said in its announcement it would require 2 units of 3,500 LTDW tankers from domestic shipyards, 3 units of 6,500 LTDW, 2 units of 17,500 LTDW, 3 units of 30,000 LTDW, all of witch could be sourced either from domestic and international shipyards, and 2 units of 260,000 LTDW, sourced from international shipyards only.
